I live on four major islands of the Philippines. The most populated being on Mindanao, followed by Samer, then Leyte and Luzon. On these four islands, is my home. I live in mid-elevated forests (1,000 to 3000m), generally in the steeper areas of these forests. I camp up on the top of the these trees, protecting myself and my eggs.
Almost all the time, it either rains or thunderstorms here. The temperature here is also warm and humid. Both the weather and climate are closely related nearly all the time. The cold rain always feels nice in the hot, humid weather of these dense forests.
I only have one primary source of water: rivers. Rivers provide for me and my family all my water needs. With more and more land lost by deforestation, the water sources available for me are dwindling. Although rivers are the most plentiful, I can scavenge water from ponds, and small lakes.
